TEpilepsy-Took-Kito help parents and care takers better navigate this elusive and often horrifying landscape, Begun Center Research Associate Jane Timmons-Mitchell , Ph.D, and Tatiana Falcone, MD, an assistant professor of medicine in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Epilepsy Center at the Cleveland Clinic, have collaborated on a new took kit, “What You Should Know about Mental Health in Youth with Epilepsy,” an information booklet and CD answering questions involving children’s medical and psychological issues. The information includes sections on child development, epilepsy and mental health, treatment and interventions and medical resources.
