Mandel School students are invited to participate in Social Work Day at the United Nations headquarters in New York City with Dr. Terry Hokenstad on April 17th, 2017.

Learn more about this opportunity at an Information Session on Tuesday, March 7, at 1:00 p.m. at the Mandel School Room 236.

Social Work Day at the United Nations is a gathering place for people around the world who are working to make a difference. For 34 years, students, practitioners, and educators have been convening on this day to learn more about the UN, innovative projects and issues related to International Social Work and the critical role Social Work plays in the international arena. The program includes a tour of the UN.

Students must register when registration opens. Students are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and lodging in New York City.

If interested, contact Valerie Rambin (var26@case.edu) or Dr. Hokenstad (mch2@case.edu) and plan to come to the information session on March 7.
