Book Discussion During Orientation
During the time you will be with us during orientation, you will be participating in small group book discussions  co-facilitated by MSASS second year students and a member of the MSASS faculty.
This book activity was selected by a group of students and faculty. It is available in paperback or in many local libraries. We believe you will find it interesting to read and hope that it will spark your thinking about the profession of social work and your role. The common reading selected is Shipler, D. K. (2005). The Working Poor: Invisible in America. New York: Random House.
