100-year-clubOn December 5, 2016, the Mandel School will be inducted into the 100 Year Club at the Western Reserve Historical Society.

The 100 Year Club of the Western Reserve was created in 1953 to honor an elite group of our region’s corporations and institutions that have been in continuous existence for at least one hundred years. The annual celebration recognizes the longstanding entrepreneurial and philanthropic spirit embodied in these Northeast Ohio organizations, which includes over 200 members.

In addition to the Mandel School, this year’s inductees include J.M. Smucker Company, BakerHostetler and the Christ Child Society of Cleveland. University Hospitals and The Sherwin-Williams Company will also be honored for their 150-year milestones.

Joining Dean Grover “Cleve” Gilmore at the induction ceremony to celebrate this honor will be Centennial Co-Chairs John Yankey, Kathy Farkas, and Denise Gibson. The moderated keynote conversation will be presented by Christopher Connor, Executive Chairman of The Sherwin-Williams Company, and Thomas F. Zenty III, Chief Executive Officer of University Hospitals. The event moderator is Deborah D. Hoover, President & CEO of the Burton D. Morgan Foundation. Case Western Reserve’s John Grabowski, PhD. is Senior Vice President of Research & Publications at the society and is their Krieger Mueller Historian.
