HARRIS LIBRARY

WELCOME TO THE HARRIS LIBRARY

What's New

A place to find announcements of new library services, as well as highlights of resources that will be either incorporated into the Harris Library website or featured on this page for a limited time. Keep informed about new information services and library resources.

***New***  9 -2-08.    New Acquisitions List - Spring & Summer 2008 -  Now Available.
The New Acquisitions List containing titles added to the Harris Library collection during the Spring and Summer of 2008 is now available on our New Acquisitions List web page.  A link to that page can be found on the Library Publications page in the General section of our website.  Remember you never have to wait for us to post a new acquisitions list to find out what is new in our collection. At any time you can run a quick search on the Browse New Books Collection web page on the Kelvin Smith website just by changing the "Location" dropdown on the menu to MSASS Harris Library.
You can also do a search at any time to see what new media material we have by using the Quicklist for Videos/DVDs.  Again don't forget to change the "Location" dropdown to read MSASS Harris Library.

9 -2-08.    September Issue of Update Now Available.
The September issue of the Harris Library Update is now available on the Library Publications web page in the General section of our website.  This issue of our newsletter is packed with information such as articles on the Case Wireless Network and how to get and use VPN.  There are articles about databases and online video collections.   Included are selected items from our New Acquisitions, books and media material.  And if you missed Mrs. Harris' 100th Birthday Party that was held here at MSASS on Friday July 11 (her birthday is actually July 12) we've also included pictures of the festivities.  This issue is definitely worth the read.

8 -21-08.    Libraries At A Glance, 2008. MAP (PDF) .
A map showing the locations of all Case libraries as well as other libraries in the University Circle area is now available on our website.  This map was created by Ms. Gina Midlik, Kelvin Smith Library, who has graciously given us permission to use this map on our website.  The link to the map can be found on our How to Find the Harris Library web page and at the bottom of our Hours web page.  Both of these are in the General section of our website.

8 -1-08.   Harris Library Hours, Fall 2008 .
The Harris Library Hours for Fall 2008 are now available on our Hours web page in the General section of our site.  Exceptions to our regular hours are listed.  Please note that even though we try to maintain the schedule we post, it is subject to change as needed usually because of situations beyond our control.
