Management Library for For-Profit and Nonprofit Organizations, Free
The Free Management Library was established as a community resource for managers of both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. It provides access to documents relating to an extensive range of topics including: employee performance, leadership development, program management, ethics, crisis management, organizational communications, interviewing and much, much more. The Library is hosted by the Management Assistance Program for Nonprofits in Minnesota and is developed and maintained as a community service by Carter McNamara, Ph.D. of Authenticity Consulting, Minneapolis. Management of Social Transformations Programme Clearing House (MOST)
MOST is a research programme of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Its objective is to establish links between researchers and policy makers in the area of social science research. The Clearinghouse offers up-to-date information on the projects, publications and activities of the MOST Programme. Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations
This academic center is sponsored by four graduate schools at Case Western Reserve University: the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, the Weatherhead School of Management, the School of Law and the College of Arts and Sciences. Manhattan Institute for Policy Research
A think tank that (according to its mission statement) "develops and disseminates new ideas that foster greater economic choice and individual responsibility." The site points to editorials from other newspapers on policy issues and includes a summary of its own projects in areas such as education reform, welfare reform, crime reduction and faith-based initiatives. Manpower Demonstration Research Corporation (MDRC)

MedlinePlus Health Information
This comprehensive site is produced by the National Library of Medicine in cooperation with the National Institutes of Health. The site offers information on a variety of Health Topics (as well as linking you to MEDLINE citations for related research articles on that topic). Other features of the site include links to Drug Information, Dictionaries of medical terms, and Directories of doctors and hospitals. MedlinePlus is a service of the National Library of Medicine to provide up-to-date medical information. Medscape is an interactive, multi-specialty, commercial Web service for clinicians and consumers. This portal site identifies a number of mental health sites related to specific disorders and treatments, therapies, professional organizations, and current news items. Minnesota Council of Nonprofits
Although much of this site is specifically geared to issues of interest to Minnesota nonprofit agencies, there is also a great deal of information that will be helpful to those outside of Minnesota. Moving Ideas Network
Moving Ideas Network (MIN), formerly the Electronic Policy Network, explains complex policy ideas to a broader audience such as journalists, activists, students and citizens. MIN is a consortium of over 100 progressive public policy organizations and advocacy groups and its site is an excellent place to begin poliy-related research on the web.
