To find out which materials have been placed on reserve for a Case and MSASS course, choose
the
"Course Reserves"
option on the main
Library Catalog page. This will take you to a screen that
allows you to locate a course by its name or its instructor. It is easiest to use the
Course Instructor option which allows you to search
for reserve materials using the instructor's name (last name first).
Once you have done this, you will get a list of the courses currently being taught by that
instructor.

Books are listed in upper and lower case letters. A call number will be displayed for each
book.
Course readings appear on the online reserve list as titles in all capital letters. The number
of the folder will also appear on the record.
Reserve items are handled differently at each of the Case Western Reserve University libraries.
At the MSASS Harris Library, reserve items are kept behind the circulation desk. Books are shelved
by call number, not by the name of the course or instructor. Reserve articles or readings are kept
in folders by instructors' names. As all faculty are now using
Blackboard you will find
that most reserve articles and readings are available from there.
