INTERLIBRARY LOAN POLICY (PDF).
The Harris Library Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Service allows MSASS affiliated students, faculty,
and staff to borrow materials from other libraries through a cooperative arrangement with those
libraries.
Articles from journals not owned by Case Western Reserve University and not available
electronically, may be requested through Interlibrary Loan. Books not owned by Case Western Reserve
University and not available through
OhioLINK
may also be borrowed through ILL.
The Harris Library uses an automated Interlibrary Loan system known as
ILLiad.
ILLiad allows you to track your requests and keep a history of your account. To use
ILLiad you must create an account by
registering online.
Only online Interlibrary Loan requests are accepted by the Harris Library.
Interlibrary Loan requests may take up to ten working days to arrive in the Harris Library. You
will be notified by e-mail or phone when the Library has received the book or article. There is
generally no charge for Interlibrary Loan materials.
For quick access, in addition to the link on this page, a link to ILLiad has been placed on the
Forms
page. There are also additional links to ILLiad from the
Student Resources
web pages, the
Faculty Resources
web pages, the
Ready Reference
web page and the
