If a book in which you are interested is checked out to another patron, you may ask a library
staff member to place a hold on the item. When the book is returned you will be notified that the
item is being held for you at the circulation desk.
If you no longer need the item, please
notify the library staff
as soon as possible so that the hold can be cancelled. This allows the book to immediately be
made available to other patrons.
The maximum number of holds allowed at any one time for students, staff or faculty is ten.
Requesting a book through
OhioLINK
is an alternative to placing a hold.
