Blackboard Podcasting
The new Podcast Tool allows instructors to create podcasts for their classes and deliver them to
their students. Students can either download and listen to individual files or subscribe to
the podcast using iTunes or another podcasting client. The following websites have detailed
instructions on adding podcasts to your course site:

Training and Support for Instructors
The Case
Instructional Technology & Academic Computing
(ITAC) Department offers classes and documentation on using Blackboard through the
CaseLearns program.
Individual instruction sessions for faculty can also be scheduled with the
Harris Library Librarians. We
request appointments be made six weeks before the start of a new semester. Specific questions about
Blackboard can be addressed to the Blackboard support group at
blackboard@case.edu.

Tutorials on Blackboard Features
Princeton University has a
series of animated tutorials that explain the features of Blackboard 6 including building a course
menu, adding content, gradebook management and using the Virtual Classroom. Each tutorial is
approximately 3 minutes long. They are excellent tools for understanding the features in
Blackboard 6.
