This site is extremely helpful for individuals or families just beginning their search for information about Indian International Adoption and those already involved in the adoption process. The site was developed and is maintained by an adoptive mother of an Indian child adopted internationally. There are fairly extensive lists of agencies to compare and contrast, as well as information from other parents and families of internationally adopted children from India.

Although the agency is based out of California, they are connected with agencies in other states throughout the U.S. The site gives general information about Indian adoption, different services provided by the agency, qualifications of staff, links to other sites, costs, questions and answers, and background on the agency.

This site offers information about Indian Law regarding international adoptions and regulations of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) and procedures for obtaining visas for these children to immigrant to the U.S. Information is given about procedures after the child enters into the U.S., as well.
