Families for Russian and Ukrainian Adoption including Neighboring Countries (FRUA)

FRUA is a non-profit network for adoptive families with children from the former Soviet
Union. The services include support for adoptive parents, cultural and ethnic events, newsletters
and a lecture series, and forum for advocating adoption from the former Soviet Union.
Families with Children from China (F.C.C.)

F.C.C is a nondenominational organization of families who adopted children from China. The
purpose of FCC is to provide a network of support for families who've adopted in China and to
provide information to prospective parents.
Families with Children from Viet Nam (FCV)

FCV is dedicated to the support and celebration of adoptive families of Vietnamese children.
The FCV website is the clearinghouse for the National FCV, including the official FCV chapter
listing, local FCV announcements, and support for new chapters. The FCV website also provides a
meeting place where adoptive families share photographs of their children, personal adoption
stories and establish family to family contacts.
International Adoption Alliance (IAA)

IAA is a non-profit organization designed to help provide cultural resources for
transracially/ trancsculturally adopted children and their families. IAA also uses its web site to
provide articles on adoption and related subjects.
International Adoption Medical Clinic

International adoption medical clinic provides information about clinics and doctors in the
U.S. and Canada specializing in international adoption health issues. These doctors and
pediatricians provide expertise on pre-adoption evaluations, adoption travel preparations,
immunizations and post adoption medical examinations for parents and their child.
International Concerns for Children, Inc. (ICC)

ICC was incorporated in 1979 as a charitable and educational organization. ICC offers updated
information on reputable intercountry adoption agencies. The services include report on
intercountry adoption, newsletters, personal counseling, and links to organizations and
agencies.
Joint Council on International Children's Services from North America (JCICS)

JCICS is the oldest and largest affiliation of licensed, nonprofit international agencies in
the world. JCICS membership also includes parent groups, advocacy organizations, and individuals
who have an interest in intercountry adoption. JCICS member agencies subscribe to establish
Standard Practice designed to protect the rights of children, birthparents, and adoptive
families.
