How I chose this profession:
I chose this profession "by accident." Wanting to work with children, I prepared to be a
minister and/or a teacher. During the summer months while considering several teaching
opportunities, I took a position as a child welfare worker in a public social services agency. It
was my "calling" and I never looked back.
