Did you know?! / The Center for Evidence-Based Practices helps supervisors, service-team members, program managers, and administrators integrate new knowledge and skills into practice by offering a menu of training opportunities, all of which are designed to emphasize social interaction and experiential learning. We provide training in a variety of venues, including onsite at organizations; in community locations accessible to providers from many different organizations; and via teleconferences and video conferences. We emphasize that changes in service-team behavior occur when organizations support training with ongoing quality in-house supervision. Therefore, our training events are designed to promote professional development and workforce development.

Experiential Learning
Our events utilize case vignettes, group interaction, exercises, and examples specific to the unique practice settings of participants. We emphasize that skill development is accomplished through practice and effective supervision in the work environment. Our trainers use a variety of teaching methods that promote experiential learning.
