The Community Innovation Network is a cross-sector network of community building experts, nonprofits, researchers, and people working on the grassroots level who are leaders in organizing communities toward understanding and social change. We are a resource for building and connecting communities and people through strength-based approaches to collaborative  community change.

There are many challenges we face today that reflect a growing separation and misunderstanding across diversity, a breakdown in civil society and the democratic process. Local communities are at the forefront of these challenges as they struggle to create avenues to foster understanding across groups who are increasingly polarized. Aware of these needs, we have been working for months to build a set of tools and resources that can be used to empower communities, foster dialogue and build community.

Stay tuned for more information on our plans to decrease the polarization in our society, bring people together across differences, and strengthen the social fabric of democracy.
