On Sunday, May 21, 2017, the Mandel School celebrated Commencement 2017 and the graduation of nearly 150 students!

Several students received dual degrees in Nonprofit Organization, Public Health, and Bioethics. We also had students who received certificates in the Early Intervention Related Service Training Program, Management & Leadership, Nonprofit Management, and Gerontology. Seven students received the PhD in Social Welfare. Nine students were inducted into the Nu Lambda Mu nonprofit honor society.

We were thrilled to welcome special Commencement speaker Darla Spence Coffey, MSW, PhD, who also received the Mandel School Advocate for Human Rights Award. She is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Council on Social Work Education.
