Career Counseling

Upon admission, students are offered programs that concentrate on developing baseline assessments of student skills (both general and social work), aptitudes, interests, values, career, decision making skills, workplace preferences, and career goals. The objective is to identify those areas of greatest need and to begin working with each student based upon these needs. The early identification of those areas in need of attention and the application of career development interventions upon admission are crucial to maximizing a student's professional development.

Job Listings

All job openings that are received by the Office are posted on the web site.  Jobs are posted as they are received and remain posted for six weeks. The Office only removes a job during the six weeks if an employer informs us that the position has been filled.   If you are a registered student or alumna/us of the Mandel School or Mandel Center, please follow the directions for access on the Job Listings web page.

The MSASS Harris Library also maintains a file of information on Cleveland area human service agencies and selected nonprofit organizations. Materials include annual reports, newsletters, brochures, etc.  A notebook with the names of the agencies is kept on top of the agency file cabinet which is on the upper level of the Harris Library.  Materials in the files are to be used in the library only.
